Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

1. Do you take insurance?

No, but we do issue you a Superbill, which has all the information on it so that you can turn it into your insurance company for possible reimbursement or put it toward a deductible. There is no guarantee your insurance company will cooperate.

2. What type of payments do you take?

We take Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, FSA, HSA, Care Credit (ask about an application), cash, checks.

3. How much does a visit cost?

The first visit is a Total Body Assessment (TBA), where testing will be performed from head to toe, in order to find the root of the problem and not just treat the symptoms. The cost is $75 with a $50 deposit to secure your appointment (which will be applied to the $75).  A plan of care will be discussed and pricing at that time.

4.  Does dry needling hurt?

Usually not.  Most people feel a tiny prick and pressure.  Some people feel nothing at all. It is nothing like getting an injection. Some people will fall asleep during the procedure.

5. How many times will it take before I feel relief?

Most patients feel relief after the first visit, but it might not last long because it takes time for your body to adjust from a dysfunction state to a functional state. It will also depend on how long you have lived with the pain and dysfunction.  This will be discussed during your TBA.

6.  Who can benefit from dry needling treatments?

People who suffer from musculoskeletal pain or injuries can benefit from dry needling treatments due to its ability to release trigger points, reduce inflammation, and increase flexibility in tight muscles.
