Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotape can be used to support a joint or muscle without confining or limiting your motion. This can allow the muscle to rest or help decrease swelling or bruising.

Red/Near Infrared Light Therapy

Red light and near-infrared light therapy promote faster healing by boosting cellular energy, reducing inflammation, and enhancing blood circulation to injured areas. This non-invasive treatment also increases collagen production, strengthening tissues and relieving muscle soreness. As a natural, drug-free option, it effectively helps reduce pain and accelerates recovery. (660 and 850 nm wavelengths used)

Personalized Exercises

Performing the right exercises can help speed your recovery. A personalized exercise program can be issued for specific injuries with in-depth instructions.

Electrical stimulation

Also known as a TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) unit can be applied alone or during dry needling treatment.  This helps the muscle to relax by interfering with the pain pathway to the brain which sends messages to the muscle letting it know it's in pain.  Less messages results in muscle relaxation and decreased pain.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a deep heat applied to the sore muscle which helps increase blood flow and relax the muscle.
